Student Union

Student Union 2021-22


The Sixth Form Student Union is the student representative body that has the following aims:

  • To represent the students actively in all matters concerning their education.
  • To seek representation on school bodies that deal with student issues.
  • To promote the social and general welfare of students.
  • To encourage student participation in all aspects of Sixth Form life, for example, societies, extra-curricular activities, community involvement and affiliations to the NUS.
  • To oppose discrimination and promote equal opportunities.
  • Through the activities of the Student Union, to promote active citizenship and community cohesion.

Elections take place each year towards the end of the Autumn Term, with newly elected year 12 students, joining the existing year 13 members.
